Post 5:

Over the week, I’ve spent a lot of time applying for jobs and internships. I also had a few portfolio reviews. Those went well, and I got a bunch of feedback. The changes I made to my reel 3 weeks ago paid off. Most of the feedback was directed to my website. They suggested working on the portfolio section of my website and adding breakdowns. I’ve already gone ahead and added them where needed. I’m also going to redo my About section. It requires a big update, and I’ve used the same description about myself for the last 2 years.

In other news, I’m going to help with a friend’s personal project. We will use the animators’ work- Here, and with their permission, we will go ahead and finish the shots. I’m going to help with Look dev, Layout, Lighting, and Comp. I’m unsure what style we are going for, but I hope it’s a photo-real.

I’m working on grabbing the ref and assets. I’ll put those in my next blog post.
