Riders

Riders started as a core team of five members wanting to make a short film, which has grown into a team of 24. We recently began developing our sound team and hope to wrap the movie at the end of June 2024. The film features a host of Full 3D shots with FX and integration and green screenshots of our racers.
Stepping into the role of the film’s Lead Environment, Lighting, and Look Dev Artist, I was tasked with developing our lighting and look dev pipeline for Houdini Arnold. Collaborating with our Pipeline TD, we created tools for environments where simple GAEA terrains and scattering were not feasible, showcasing my ability to lead and innovate.

Journey of Season
scad x the mill ny collaboration
Together with a team of four, we embarked on a ten-week journey to design and create a mock ad, guided by mentors from The Mill New York. Our collective vision was to craft an Amtrak ad that encapsulated the spirit of “rain, shine, sleet or snow, Amtrak takes you where you need to go” and brought our story to life.
As a pivotal member of our team, I was responsible for building out all of our environments. Additionally, I took charge of lighting and compositing the entire ad, ensuring its visual appeal and coherence.

Soundwave
scad x Harbor picture company collaboration
I worked with the Harbor mentors over ten weeks to create a mock ad with a team of four. Following their feedback, we made an elegant speaker ad for the luxury speaker brand Bang & Olufsen.
My role on this team was to do all the look dev and lighting. This meant working many late hours with our compositor to art direct the final look of the ad.

The Last Dungeon
SCAD animation studios
This was SCAD animation’s first-ever Unreal 5 engine film created in a mock studio environment. I was brought on to do lighting for the film.
During my time on the film, I achieved much more than that. In addition to my lighting duties, I helped set up the Unreal 5.1 to nuke pipeline and our whole post-production workflow.
